Having a hard time figuring out what you want to be when you grow up?

Our 5-week member-based summer program is designed to empower high school youths to take a deeper look into what they're passionate about by connecting them to a variety of industry professionals who love their jobs. Whether you're certain about your future career path or you've struggled to know what you want to be when you grow up, we invite you to journey in a community of curious teens who are interested in preparing for life after high school.

What We Offer

Career

“What do I want to do in the future?” It’s a question we’ve all thought about. Connect with industry professionals and get to know what they do, why they do it and the impact they make in their careers.

Skills Workshops

Need to spice up your résumé but don’t know how? Want to know how to become a millionaire? We got you covered. You’ll be challenged to get out of your comfort zone to develop new skills (and learn from experts!).

Community

We’re all about community and building relationships with one another as we explore our futures and careers together. Our goal is to open up your potential for leadership where you can build a community project for Elmhurst with your peers!

"GYLT taught me that there are a wide variety of paths that we can take and we shouldn’t stress so hard on staying on one route for the rest of our lives."
